Class A Barber Program
Overview
The Class A Barber Program is an immersive 7–10 month course designed to passionately prepare students for a rewarding career in the barbering industry. Our curriculum provides hands-on training both inside and outside the barbershop, ensuring that every student gains confidence, skill, and creativity in their craft.
Students are introduced to a wide range of professional techniques, from perfecting fades and facials to executing shaves, color applications, and more. Along the way, they are encouraged to develop their own sense of style, design, and artistic critique.
Program Structure
The program is divided into four phases, each focused on advancing a student’s understanding and mastery:
- Phase 1: Introduction to barbering fundamentals and equipment usage.
- Phase 2: Building technical skills in cutting and styling.
- Phase 3: Advanced techniques, including fades, shaves, and creative designs.
- Phase 4: Business preparation and color applications — wrapping up with readiness for the State Board Exam & Practical.
Fade demonstrations and hands-on instruction are conducted daily to strengthen technique and confidence. As students approach the completion of their 1,000 training hours, they also receive business classes to prepare for real-world success and entrepreneurship.

300 HR Cosmetologist to Barber Program
Course Description
Cross-Over Program
The Cross-Over Program is a 300-hour course consisting of one comprehensive phase. This program focuses on mastering the 14 shaving strokes and performing a full-service shave.
Students will also learn about the various types of men’s haircuts commonly performed in a barbershop. The course provides daily hands-on training using mannequins and live clients, ensuring students gain real-world experience and confidence.
Additionally, students will receive thorough preparation for their State Written and Practical Examinations.
